On Saturday, June 12, 2021, the Faculty of Nursing at Hasanuddin University held an Online Seminar of Community Service with the theme Covid-19 Treatment at home. In the event, a number of lecturers from the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University were involved as resource persons, namely:

- Dr. Yuliana Syam, S.Kep., Ns., M.Si (Basic Nursing Lecturer, Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University) “Deep Breathing Relaxation by blowing balloons for Covid-19 patients”
- Dr. Rosyidah Arafah, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep., Sp.KMB (Lecturer of Medical Surgical Nursing, Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University) “Psychosocial Support for Covid-19 Patients at home”
- Abdul Majid, S, Kep., Ns., M.Kep., Sp.KMB (Lecturer of Medical Surgical Nursing, Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University) “Introduction to Covid-19”
- Indra Gaffar, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep (Lecturer of Nursing Management Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University) “Infection Prevention & Personal Hygiene Needs for Covid-19 Patients”
The activity, which was attended by around 58 participants, is a form of concern and efforts of the Faculty of Nursing at Hasanuddin University in increasing public knowledge about self-care steps that can be taken if you have family members infected with Covid-19 along with the main preventive measures in suppressing the spread of the virus.
