On Monday, (2/10) F.Kep held Pre-Departure Training for Lecturers and Students who will carry out International Outbound. The activity was held in the F.Kep Senate Room at 08.00 WITA.
The Deputy Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs (Prof. drg. Muhammad Ruslin, M.Kes., Ph.D., Sp.BM(K)) was also present and gave a speech as well as opening the event which was attended by the Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Kasubdit Career Preparation, KTU and Head of Subdivision F.Kep, as well as International Outbound participants.
In his speech, WD 1 F.Kep said that “This international outbound program is a form of cooperation with overseas partners who actively contribute and is also a form of the Faculty of Nursing’s efforts to achieve a World Class University as Unhas’s target in the future,” said Syahrul.
There are 3 international outbound programs, namely the European Nursing Modules at Hanze University Groningen, Netherlands, 9-23 October 2023, the second Yokohama Urban Solution Study at Yokohama City University, Japan, 9 November – 1 December 2023, and the Sakura Exchange Program, Yokohama City University, Japan, 14- January 20, 2023.
In his speech, WR 1 (Prof. drg. Muhammad Ruslin, M.Kes., Ph.D., Sp.BM(K)) also congratulated and encouraged the participants who would be leaving for the outbound program later, he said that “in “achieving a World Class University means that we are able to provide benefits and build an academic and non-academic atmosphere, therefore this is an opportunity to open and increase one’s capacity as much as possible,” explained Prof. Ruslin
The activity continued with the presentation of material as a provision for international outbound participants by several speakers and topics, namely Andi Masyitha Irwan, S.Kep., Ns., MAN.Ph.D (Outbound Students and Teachers as Unhas Ambassadors), Dr. Karmila Mokogintas, S.S., M.Hum., M. Arts (Tips On Academic Writing), Jamaluddin Fitrah Alam, S.Pi., M.Si., Ph.D (Dealing With Culture Shock), Muhammad Ridwan, S.S., M.A (Cross Culture Understanding: Going Abroad, What should I do?) and Syahrul, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes., Ph.D (Internationalization in The Faculty of Nursing) until 15.00 WITA.
