The Faculty of Nursing (FKep) Hasanuddin University visited the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Muhammadiyah University Yogyakarta. The activity took place in the FKIK UMY Meeting Room at 08.00 WIB, on Friday (03/11)

Attended by the Dean of FKIK UMY (Dr.dr. Sri Sundari, M.Kes) and his staff, the Head of Nursing Study Program and Secretary of Nursing Science Study Program, as well as Ormawa Education and Student Organizations. Also present at the meeting were the Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation Partnerships, F.Kep Unhas (Dr. Takdir Tahir, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes) accompanied by the Head of Nursing Study Program and D3 Nursing Study Program Secretary, Librarian, as well as Ormawa Tendik and Students.

Dean of FKIK UMY Dr. Dr. Sri Sundari, M.Kes., in her speech expressed her gratitude for Unhas’ visit to carry out benchmarking at UMY. He welcomed this collaboration initiative in the form of benchmarking, considering it a constructive step to improve the quality of medical and health science education in Indonesia.

This visit is also a form of commitment from FKep Unhas and FKIK UMY in establishing collaboration that will provide great benefits for the development of education and research at both universities. During this visit, staff and lecturers from both faculties will share experiences, best practices and the latest research results.

“Hopefully this meeting will be a learning material for mutual sharing about student organizations, administration and library management, and we hope this meeting can help in managing the Faculty of Nursing,” explained Dr. Sri.

On the same occasion Dr. Takdir Tahir, Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation Partnerships, said that this benchmarking aims to optimize administration and library services, as well as sharing between students and student organization administrators.

“Our aim of coming is to learn more and discuss the management needed to improve the quality of administrative services, libraries and share ideas from students who manage student organizations,” explained Dr. Destiny

The activity continued with visits to the Mini Hospital, Library and Osce Room until 12.00 WIB.
