The joint research team from the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University and the School of Nursing Yokohama City University (YCU) held an end-of-year meeting in Yokohama on Friday (17/11).
This meeting discussed joint research output in 2023 and research plans for 2024. The F.Kep research team present was Andi Masyitha Irwan, S.Kep, Ns, M.Kes, Ph.D, Syahrul, S.Kep, Ns, M .Kes, Ph.D and Prof. Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, S.Kp, M.Si, Then YCU was attended by Ryota Ochiai, RN, Ph.D and Yayoi Shoji, RN, MHS. Also attended were Master of Nursing students Nurila, S.Kep, Ns, who was taking part in a student exchange program at YCU.
Not only discussing research output, the research team also agreed to continue and develop research in 2024 at the next stage and involve more lecturers at both universities. Head of the F.Kep Unhas research team, Dr. Andi Masyitha said that the initial research stage on e-health literacy was almost complete, and would be continued at the next stage.


This meeting not only discussed research collaboration, but also discussed the implementation of other collaborations that have been implemented or are ongoing in 2023. For planning for 2024, both parties agreed to continue existing activities and develop other forms of activities, including:

  1. 10 lecturers and students of F.Kep Unhas will participate in the Sakura exchange program at YCU in January 2024.
  2. Joint implementation of Online Exchange Global Health, September 2024.
  3. Student exchange for Masters students at YCU in November 2024.
  4. Visiting lectures (inbound and outbound) online or offline.
  5. Continue joint research and publications.
  6. Jointly participate in all consortium activities

Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, Dr. Ariyanti Saleh said that “YCU School of Nursing has been one of F.Kep’s strategic partners in the last four years, bringing mutual benefits to both universities. “This collaboration brings benefits to improving the quality of students and alumni, as well as supporting the achievement of Unhas’ vision,” he said.
The visit of the F.Kep Research Team to Yokohama City University can further improve and strengthen cooperative relations in 2024.
