F.Kep Unhas became a Co-organizer with the University of Malaya in the 2024 International Nursing Conference on Saturday (10/08) at the University of Malaya. Those involved in the activity were the Dean of F.Kep (Prof. Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, S.Kp., M.Si), Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs (Syahrul, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes., Ph.D), Head of GPM F.Kep (Dr. Suni Hariati, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep) and Head of D3 Nursing Study Program (Nurmaulid, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep).
Dr. Tang Li Yong as Head of the Department of Nursing Science Universiti Malaya, has met with the Dean of F.Kep regarding the evaluation of ongoing cooperation and plans for the implementation of future cooperation. The cooperation that will be continued includes student and lecturer exchanges, as well as joint research.

F.Kep Unhas and School of Nursing-University of Malaya (SN-UM) have had a Cooperation Agreement since 2022. Several collaborations have been running, especially joint research. At the beginning of this year, both parties agreed to hold a Joint International Conference held in Kuala Lumpur where SN-UM was the host and FKep Unhas was the co-host.
The Dean of F.Kep (Prof. Ariyanti) said that “This activity is part of an effort to increase the number of lecturers doing activities outside the campus and at the same time implementing cooperation between the Nursing Study Program. Therefore, in addition to being the committee, the lecturers who are delegates will also be presenters at the activity,” he explained.

In addition to the purpose of implementing the joint conference, on this occasion, an initiation of the formation of a double degree for the Nursing Masters Program will be carried out and an increase in the number of prospective colleagues who are willing to become participants in Academic Reputation to support Unhas in the 2025 QS ranking survey. The output of this activity is to increase the number of lecturers who are active outside the campus, the implementation of the implementation of the Nursing S1 study program collaboration through the Joint International Conference, and the increase in colleagues who are willing to become participants in the academic reputation (AR), and the initiation of a double-degree Nursing Masters program with UM.
