Dr. Kadek Ayu Erika is a prominent academic and practitioner in the field of nursing and health. She was born in Denpasar on October 20, 1977. She actively served as a lecturer in the nursing science program at Hasanuddin University since 2003, and she has experience holding various positions at both the regional and national levels. She also serves as the Director of the Hj. Titiek Mother and Child Clinic enhances professional pediatric nursing services.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Kadek has pursued her education diligently, starting with a Diploma III from the Nursing Academy in Makassar. She then earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a professional degree from Airlangga University. She completed her master’s in Biomedical Physiology and graduated research has had a positive impact on society.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the past five years, Dr. Kadek has actively contributed to research, community service, and scientific activities, and authored various books on pediatric nursing. She has also made significant contributions to Intellectual Property Rights in the field of pediatric nursing. Her research covers various topics related to the development of stunting applications, child growth and development, lifestyle, health education, disabilities, and healthcare services. Her expertise in research is evident from her list of research projects and publications in reputable journals. One of her research projects in 2022, the PAIR Project Agreement-Australia Indonesia Centre collaboration, saw Dr. Kadek actively involved as a Partner Investigator.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Kadek has received recognition for her contributions, including being awarded the second rank as the author of the most nursing-related questions in Indonesia’s national competency exam. In addition to her research, Dr Kadek has an impressive academic leadership role. She has held key positions, including Vice Dean for Planning, Finance, and Resources at the Faculty of Nursing at Hasanuddin University. Dr Kadek serves as the Chair of the Ethics Committee for Health Research at the Faculty of Nursing at Unhas, and serves as an assessor for the Indonesian Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in Health (IAAHEH), ensuring excellent quality and maintaining high educational standards in Indonesia.<\/span><\/p>\n
