Lecturer of the Faculty of Nursing and Secretary of the Institute for Quality Assurance and Educational Development (LPMPP) Hasanuddin University, Rini Rachmawaty, S.Kep., Ns., MN, PhD; invited by the President of Australia Indonesia Business Council (AIBC) as a panellist in the prestigious Australia Indonesia Business Council (AIBC) Conference which was held at Mindil Beach Resort, Darwin, Australia on 2-4 November 2022. Conference participants came from the business, tourism sector, arts and culture, agriculture, infrastructure development, energy, education, and health.
\nSeveral essential figures from Australia and Indonesia were also present and gave remarks at the opening of the AIBC conference, including:<\/p>\n

    At the AIBC conference, Dr Rini Rachmawaty was a panellist in the Panel Discussion Session with the theme: \u201cEducation, Skills and Training: Future of Work and Education, Maximizing Human Capital\u201d (4\/11\/2022). The panellists who attended the panel discussion session were:<\/p>\n

      In the panel session, Dr Rini Rachmawaty conveyed the findings and action plans from the international collaborative research between La Trobe University (Prof. Lisa McKenna\/Project Leader, Dr Gulzar Malik, Dr Jenny Davis, and Dr Rachael Duncan), Hasanuddin University (Dr Rini Rachmawaty & Mr Musmulyono, MHPA), Universitas Airlangga (Dr Ferry Efendi & Ms. Ika A. S., M.Kep.), and Universitas Pelita Harapan (Dr Christine Sommers & Mr Ian R. M., MPH) with the topic, \u201cComparative Assessment of Nursing Standards in Indonesia and Australia\u201d. This international research was funded by The Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement Economic Cooperation Program (IA-CEPA ECP) \u200b\u200bCatalyst. This study aims to provide an overview of the similarities, differences, and gaps in nursing standards applied in Indonesia and Australia so that strategies can be drawn up to harmonize nursing standards from both countries so that Indonesian and Australian nurses have the opportunity to work in both countries.<\/p>\n
