The 2023 International Nursing Seminar Conference was successfully held by the Rajawali Health Institute on (23-24\/08) via Virtual Zoom Meeting and was won by a delegation from the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University as the winner of 1st Place in Oral Presentation, with the theme “Transforming Nursing Future in Digital, Technology , Innovation, and Collaboration for Nursing Education and Practice”.
Also present were speakers to enliven this activity, including Prof. Tetsuka Tanioka from Tokushima University and Assoc, Prof. Muna Bhattaral from Texas A&M University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first day opened with a description of the material from several speakers and was followed by the start of competitions for oral presentations, scientific essays and speech competitions. The oral presentation competition was divided into 3 breakout rooms with each room consisting of 10 participants and 2 reviewers. Specifically, in the oral presentation competition, the assessment is not only carried out on the content of the research or scientific articles owned by each participant, but an assessment is also carried out on how fluent they are in presenting the participants’ research results or articles in English followed by explanation points that have been determined by the committee, such as background, methods, research results and conclusions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First place in oral presentation was won by Muhammad Rizky Asfarada, S.Kep, often called asfa, from the Nursing Profession study program, Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University. The other authors who accompanied the ASFA article were Rini Rachmawaty, S.Kep., Ns., MN., Ph.D. and Indra Gaffar, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep. The title of the research that Asfa presented and won it was “Application of the Dyad Model to the Case Manager Function in the Implementation of the Integrated Clinical Pathway (ICP) of Typhoid Fever at the Hospital: Case Study”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this research, Asfa explained that “the importance of a case manager in a hospital is in preventing an increase in the length of stay for patients, especially patients with typhoid fever. “With the latest model, namely the Dyad Model, research provides an explanation that in one hospital it is necessary to implement two case managers in handling all areas of the hospital treatment room so that the duties and principal of a case manager are more efficient,” explained Asfa (24\/08)
With the explanation and presentation of the research results, Asfa won 1st place in this competition which was organized by the Rajawali Health Institute. Later the results of this research will be included in the open journal system by the Rajawali Health Institute for publication.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
