As a series of the 67th Anniversary, as well as a form of social responsibility and commitment to make a real contribution to society, Hasanuddin University collaborates with the Regional Government of Pangkep Regency to organize community service activities. The opening took place at 10.00 WITA, located on Camba Cambang Island, Pangkep Regency, Tuesday (29\/08).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Starting the activity, Chair of the Unhas 67th Anniversary Committee, Prof. Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, S.Kp., M.Si, explained that previously the organizing committee had held an audience with the Regent of Pangkajene and the Islands (H. Muhammad Yusran Lalogau, S.Pi., M.Si) in order to discuss and follow up on the community service agenda with LPPM Unhas and the Pangkep OPD leadership to harmonize all community service activities. There are 32 community service activities that have been carried out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Chancellor of Unhas, represented by the Deputy Chancellor III for Human Resources, Alumni and Information Systems, Unhas (Prof. Dr. Farida Patittingi, S.H., M.Hum) said that community service activities are a form of commitment from Hasanuddin University’s responsibility to optimize regional improvement. Prof Farida added that service was carried out in various fields according to regional needs and potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Unhas continues to strive to make real contributions to society through various activities. “We didn’t come as guests, but wanted to be part of the Pangkep community,” explained Prof. Farida Patittingi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the same occasion, the Regent of Pangkajene and the Islands (H. Muhammad Yusran Lalogau, S.Pi., M.Si), expressed his gratitude for Unhas’ attention and concern for giving serious attention to efforts to improve the quality and progress of the Pangkep community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yusran said that the development of a region would progress if universities were involved in policy making. In Pangkep, Yusran said that Unhas’ role was felt in development and governance. He hopes that this service will continue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this activity, there were several agendas carried out, namely the handover of assistance for seaweed storage with a capacity of 100 kilograms from Unhas to the Pangkep Regional Government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Apart from that, there was also an exhibition of products resulting from community service, and closed with the handover of processed seaweed products from community service by the Deputy Chancellor I for Academic and Student Affairs, Unhas (Prof. drg. Muhammad Ruslin, M.Kes., Ph.D., Sp. BM (K)) to the Regent of Pangkep and the Subdistrict Head as representatives of the community. The activity went smoothly and smoothly until 13.00 WITA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also present were the Chair of the Unhas Board of Trustees (Prof Dr Andi Alimuddin Unde MSi), the Chair of the Senate (Prof. Dr. Baharuddin Thalib, drg., M.Kes., Sp.Pros (K)), the Chair of the Unhas LPPM (Prof. dr. Muh. Nasrum Massi, Ph.D., Sp.MK), Secretary of LPPM Unhas (Ir. Suharman Hamzah, ST., MT., Ph.D (Eng), HSE), All Heads of Research and Development Center for LPPM Unhas, all The Dean of the Faculty and the entire Committee from both Unhas and the Pangkep Regional Government have prepared this entire series of activities.
