{"id":18902,"date":"2025-09-18T13:53:04","date_gmt":"2025-09-18T05:53:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nursing.unhas.ac.id\/?p=18902"},"modified":"2025-09-19T13:54:00","modified_gmt":"2025-09-19T05:54:00","slug":"the-faculty-of-nursing-hasanuddin-university-educates-gowa-youth-on-early-detection-of-fibroadenoma-mammae","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nursing.unhas.ac.id\/en\/the-faculty-of-nursing-hasanuddin-university-educates-gowa-youth-on-early-detection-of-fibroadenoma-mammae\/","title":{"rendered":"The Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, Educates Gowa Youth on Early Detection of Fibroadenoma Mammae"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Community Service Team from the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, provided education to Gowa youth through Youth Information and Counseling Services (PIK-R) with the theme &#8220;Prevention and Early Detection of Fibroadenoma Mammae (FAM)&#8221; on Thursday (September 18th) at SMA Negeri 2, Gowa Regency.<br>The event was attended by the Principal of SMA Negeri 2 Gowa (Dr. Imran Mappiare, M.Pd.), the Head of the Community Service Team (Dr. Tuti Seniwati, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes), four F.Kep lecturers and students, and 94 female students.<br>The opening remarks were given by the Principal of SMA Negeri 2 Gowa (Dr. Imran Mappiare, M.Pd.), who expressed his appreciation for the initiative as a demonstration of the educational sector&#8217;s commitment to adolescent health. &#8220;We hope this activity will provide valuable lessons for the female students to be more aware of their own health, particularly in conducting breast self-examinations,&#8221; he said.<br>The Head of the Community Service Team (Dr. Tuti Seniwati, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes) emphasized in her remarks that the activity targets young women who are members of the PIK-R (National Infectious Diseases Center).
