The Faculty of Nursing at Hasanuddin University held an international collaboration with Yokohama City University through the Online Global Health Program (OGHP) themed “Utilization of Devices and the Advancement of AI in Nursing” in 2026. The event took place on June 25, 2026. The event was attended by 32 Nursing students, 19 Faculty of Nursing students from Hasanuddin University, 1 Nursing student from the University of Gorontalo, and 12 students from Yokohama City University, Japan.
The event was attended by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Elly Lilianty Sjattar, S.Kp., M.Kes.; the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Syahrul, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes., Ph.D.; and two speakers: Saldy Yusuf, Ph.D. from Hasanuddin University and Miyako Muta from the Global Nursing Research Center, University of Tokyo.
In his remarks, the Dean, Prof. Dr. Elly Lilianty Sjattar emphasized that international collaboration through OGHP activities provides a strategic platform for students to broaden their global perspectives, strengthen cross-cultural competency networks, and build academic networks to support future nursing development.
Speaker Saldy Yusuf, Ph.D., emphasized the integration of technology and artificial intelligence into nursing education practices, while Miyako Muta emphasized the development of nursing in the field of research and innovation globally.
Through the OGHP program, participants gained insights into nursing in the increasingly modern digital era and emphasized international collaboration for the development of technological innovations to address challenges in healthcare.
This activity demonstrates the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University’s commitment to strengthening international collaboration networks to promote innovative insights into nursing professional education globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
