{"id":6197,"date":"2016-11-11T03:08:35","date_gmt":"2016-11-11T03:08:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unhas.ac.id\/keperawatan\/nursing\/?p=6197"},"modified":"2022-11-01T15:27:23","modified_gmt":"2022-11-01T07:27:23","slug":"teaching-learning-training-for-lecturers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nursing.unhas.ac.id\/en\/teaching-learning-training-for-lecturers\/","title":{"rendered":"Teaching Learning Training for Lecturers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The PEKERTI Program (Enhancing Instructional Teaching Basic Skills) is one of the programs of the UNHAS Education Study and Development Institute (LKPP) which aims to improve the ability of lecturers and prospective lecturers in learning activities starting from preparation, process to learning evaluation. PEKERTI is a requirement that must be owned by a lecturer in order to produce competent, professional graduates in their fields.<\/p>\n<p>PEKERTI Generation XXXII-XXXIII is a collaborative activity between LKPP Unhas and STIKes Mega Rezky Makassar which was held on 31 October-5 November 2016 at LKPP Unhas. The event was opened by Prof. Dr. Elly Wahyuddin, DEA as chairman of LKPP, then continued with material about lab skills. One of the material presented by Dr. Kadad Ayu Erika, S. Kep., Ns., M.Kes as a facilitator about Lab Skill (Practicum) on November 2, 2016. Most of the PEKERTI participants did not work as lecturers and the rest worked in the service and education amounted to 40 participants in each class. Participants shared experiences about lab skills experienced when they were students who said: &#8220;there are still a number of instructors in the lab who are lacking in providing stimulation and challenges to students, not optimal and intense in assisting practicum students and there are still instructors who are less friendly to students&#8221; . The existence of this practical material provides an explanation to PEKERTI participants that practicum is a learning strategy used in the teaching and learning process covering the psychomotor, knowledge and affective domains using laboratory facilities. Evaluation of the practicum process is not only assessing student skills, but must include the three domains. The characteristics of lecturers that are effective in practicum, including being able to generate active participation of students, think critically, supervise students intensively, provide practicum instructions and adequate facilities so that students can achieve the outcome according to the competence of their field of expertise.<\/p>\n<p>As a lecturer as a role model, he should have the ability to manage lab work well in order to produce graduates who are ready to use, professionals in their fields, beneficial to society.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The PEKERTI Program (Enhancing Instructional Teaching Basic Skills) is one of the programs of the UNHAS Education Study and Development Institute (LKPP) which aims to improve the ability of lecturers and prospective lecturers in learning activities starting from preparation, process to learning evaluation.
