{"id":8177,"date":"2020-05-16T14:26:16","date_gmt":"2020-05-16T14:26:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unhas.ac.id\/keperawatan\/nursing\/?p=8177"},"modified":"2022-11-02T11:02:57","modified_gmt":"2022-11-02T03:02:57","slug":"sharing-experience-preparation-of-student-assessment-in-the-health-sector-through-the-sikola-unhas-application","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nursing.unhas.ac.id\/en\/sharing-experience-preparation-of-student-assessment-in-the-health-sector-through-the-sikola-unhas-application\/","title":{"rendered":"Sharing Experience: Preparation of Student Assessment in the Health Sector through the SIKOLA Unhas Application"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Student assessment is an important thing to do to ensure that students can show their abilities in an actual and comprehensive manner both cognitive, affective and psychomotor after the learning process takes place and the results can be used as a basis for making decisions about students, learning processes, curriculum and educational policies in order to improve quality learning.<\/p>\n<p>The Learning Management System (SIKOLA) application at Hasanuddin University provides various features that facilitate online learning, one of which is formative evaluation features that facilitate lecturers in conducting student assessments to assess the achievement of learning outcomes and make it easier for students to take part in online assessments, especially at this time in the Covid Pandemic -19. Therefore, as part of efforts to optimize the use of SIKOLA Unhas, the Academic, Research and Innovation Division of the Faculty of Nursing Hasanuddin University initiated the organization of activities with the topic <strong>&#8220;Sharing Experience: Preparation of Student Assessment in the Health Sector through the SIKOLA Unhas Application&#8221;<\/strong> which took place online on the day Thursday, May 14, 2020, from 09.00 to 17.00 with the speaker Mrs Nurhaya Nurdin, S, Kep., Ns., MN., MPH.<\/p>\n<p>This activity was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing Unhas, represented by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Research and Innovation of the Faculty of Nursing, Rini Rachmawaty, S. Kep., Ns., MN., PhD and continued with 3 sessions. Session I: Presentation of student assessment theories in the health sector through the SIKOLA application; Session II: Training with assistance; and Session III: Self-training. The experience of the presenters shared in this activity was welcomed enthusiastically by the participants consisting of 38 Lecturers of the Faculty of Nursing Unhas. In general, they revealed that SIKOLA was very useful not only for Student Assessment but also for quality assurance of education. Through this activity also the use of SIKOLA was felt to be very useful because it turned out that its application was not difficult and the various features informative evaluation in this application were very helpful for lecturers in obtaining objective assessment results from each student. Formative evaluation of SIKOLA is meant such as Randomization of questions; setting the test deadline; various forms of questions such as multiple answers, fill in the blanks, matching, essays, hotspots, sequence order, match by dragging, reading comprehension; and the form of other questions arranged in a set of questions.
