The Global Health Learning Webinar Series activity was held again with the theme “Expanding Horizons – Experiencing The Diversity of Nursing Practice through International Collaborations (COIL 2023). This activity is a webinar series which takes place every Wednesday (13 September – 18 October 2023) for 2 hours and is a collaborative activity with several foreign universities, namely La Trobe University (Australia), Leeds Becket University & Sheffield Hallam University (United Kingdom), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Hong Kong), Malmo University (Sweden), and Hasanuddin University (Indonesia ).

At each Webinar, collaborating universities get one opportunity to host a Webinar with each webinar topic and cultural activities. The UNHAS Faculty of Nursing hosted the COIL Webinar activity on 11 October 2023 at 15.30 WITA with the theme “No One Left Behind: Comprehending and making provisions for individuals with disabilities” and with cultural activity: Dance Class “4 Ethnics”.

Also present as a speaker was Dr. Misita Anwar (Lecturer at Swinburne University Australia) with the material title “Leave no one behind: Towards inclusive digital health design for people with disabilities”; Nurhaya Nurdin, S.Kep., Ns., MN., MPH (Lecturer at FKep UNHAS) with the material title “Hasanuddin University towards Inclusive Campus”; and Dr Sudirman Nasir (Lecturer at FKM UNHAS) with the title “Reflections and lessons learned from disability research in South Sulawesi, Indonesia facilitated by PAIR-AIC”. Also taking part in the event were the Student Dance Team from HIMIKA FKep UNHAS in their performance and short “4 Ethnic” Dance Tutor. It is hoped that this activity will be able to establish close relationships between implementing universities and become a forum for other opportunities for collaboration between lecturers and students in the future.
