The Unhas Physiotherapy Professional Study Program Holds a CE and CI Perception Alignment Meeting

The Unhas Physiotherapy Professional Study Program held a Perception Alignment event for Clinical Educators (CEs) and Clinical Instructors (CIs) on Tuesday (August 5th) at 8:00 a.m. WITA (Central Indonesian Time) at the Unhas Hotel. The event was attended by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs (Syahrul, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes., Ph.D.), the Head of the Physiotherapy Professional Study Program (Irianto, S.Ft., Physio., M.Kes), lecturers, and several CEs and CIs from the physiotherapy professional student practice areas.
In his remarks, the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs stated that “This activity fosters communication between lecturers, Clinical Educators, and Clinical Instructors, which is crucial for ensuring students receive equal treatment when practicing in hospitals, clinics, and community health centers. Not only are hard skills required, but also professional attitudes and clinical judgment are also important,” he explained.
Successful clinical learning lies not only in mastering technical skills, but also in developing a professional attitude and clinical decision-making acumen, the foundation of a physiotherapist with integrity.
In addition to building mutual understanding, this activity also aims to strengthen the synergy between academia and practice, so that students gain a consistent, relevant learning experience that aligns with the demands of the profession. With this shared understanding, it is hoped that physiotherapy graduates from the Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University, will become professionals with superior competence, high integrity, and prepared to compete at the national and global levels.
