The Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, held a Workshop on Strengthening the Management of UPPS and PS based on Ministerial Regulation No. 39 of 2025 and the eight criteria of the LAM-PTKes (Health and Safety Management Institute) to improve the quality of educational governance and prepare for study program accreditation within the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University. The event took place on Monday, May 11, 2026, in the Faculty of Nursing Senate Room. The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing (Prof. Dr. Elly Lilianty Sjattar, S.Kp., M.Kes), Vice Deans, Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs, and Lecturers.
In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, emphasized the importance of strengthening the governance of UPPS and study programs to adapt to developments in regulations and national accreditation standards. In addition to improving educational quality, this event is also expected to strengthen study program readiness for the accreditation process based on the latest LAM-PTKes instrument.
The presentation began with Dr. The event was attended by Dr. Rohman Azzam, S.Kep., Ns., Sp.KMB, Head of the Nursing Division of the LAM-PTKes (Nursing and Health Education Institution) on strategies for identifying gaps and adjusting management policies based on the LamPTKes instrument and Ministerial Regulation No. 39 of 2026.
The event then continued with a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and policy identification session, moderated by Dr. Suni Hariati, Chair of the GPMPR. This session provided a forum for all participants to identify challenges, policy development needs, and strategies for strengthening governance relevant to the LAM-PTKes assessment indicators.
Through this activity, the Faculty of Nursing at Hasanuddin University hopes that all management units and study programs will be better prepared to implement an effective, accountable, and sustainable governance system to support the improvement of the quality of nursing higher education at Hasanuddin University.
