The Master of Nursing Study Program, Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, held its Final Examination on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, in the Ethics Committee Room on the 2nd floor of the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University. The examination, held from 9:00–11:00 a.m. WITA (Central Indonesian Time), was one of the final stages in completing the master’s degree.
In the first session, Akbar presented his thesis entitled “The Effectiveness of Using a Web Application with Daily Activity Monitoring Features on Physical Fitness and Glycemic Control of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients at the Binamu Community Health Center, Jeneponto Regency.” This research was supervised by Dr. Nuurhidayat Jafar, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep., and Andi Masyitha Irwan, S.Kep., Ns., MAN., Ph.D., with the examining team consisting of Dr. Aminuddin, M.Nut & Diet., Ph.D., Sp.GK, and Syahrul, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes., Ph.D.

Next, in the second session, Sitti Umrah HJS presented her thesis entitled “The Effectiveness of a Web Application with a Food Photo Analysis Feature on Optimizing Dietary Patterns and Metabolic Parameters in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients at the Bontosunggu Community Health Center, Jeneponto Regency.” This research was supervised by Dr. Nuurhidayat Jafar, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep, and Dr. Karmila Sarih, S.Kep., Ners., M.Kes., with a panel of examiners consisting of Dr. Aminuddin, M.Nut & Diet., Ph.D., Sp.GK, and Andi Masyitha Irwan, S.Kep., Ns., MAN., Ph.D.

These two studies demonstrate the commitment of the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University’s Master of Nursing Program to producing innovative and beneficial research for society, particularly in the management of chronic diseases through the use of technology.
