Unhas Faculty of Nursing Showcases SEHATI application at National Matchmaking Forum for Research Downstreaming and Domestic Medical Device Innovation for Primary Health Care by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia

SEHATI Takes the Spotlight in Digital Health Innovation

The main matchmaking forum took place on October 7, 2026, Prof. Dr. Kadek Ayu Erika, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes., presented “SEHATI Application for Stunting Prevention” in the Software as a Medical Device (SAMD) category. The presentation introduced SEHATI as a digital health innovation that brings together child growth monitoring, stunting prevention education, and health information in one application. By supporting families in monitoring children’s growth and accessing relevant health education, SEHATI offers an approach to strengthening community-based child health services.

On 8 October 2026, the activity concluded with administrative completion and participant departure.

Connecting Research with Sustainable Health Impact

SEHATI’s participation in the national forum reflects the Faculty of Nursing’s contribution to translating health research into practical innovations. By connecting academic expertise with government initiatives and industry collaboration, this effort aims to strengthen the potential of locally developed digital health technology to support child health services and stunting prevention.

This event also aligns with the SDGs 1 (No Poverty) by supporting preventive health interventions that may help reduce the long-term social and economic consequences of childhood stunting; SDGs 2 (Zero Hunger) by supporting nutrition education and growth monitoring to promote adequate child nutrition; SDGs 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through digital support for child health monitoring; SDGs 4 (Quality Education) through accessible health education; and SDGs 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening collaboration among academia, government, industry, and other stakeholders.
