Dr. Suni Hariati is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in nursing and healthcare. She was born on September 24, 1984, in Tuban, East Java. Currently, Dr. Suni serves as a lecturer in the Nursing Program at Hasanuddin University and holds various roles in regional and organizational positions. With experience dating back to 2007, she has been an active member of the academic community.
Dr. Suni has pursued an extensive educational journey, completing her undergraduate studies in Nursing at Hasanuddin University, followed by a master’s degree in Pediatric Nursing at the University of Indonesia. She recently earned her doctorate in Medicine and Health Sciences from Gadjah Mada University. Throughout her academic career, she has produced impactful research, with a focus on topics related to the Covid-19 pandemic and maternal and child health.
In the past five years, Dr. Suni has undertaken several research projects, funded both internally and externally, including studies on the health-seeking behaviors of adolescent girls with disabilities and the role of half-sitting position on cortisol and oxytocin levels in neonates. Additionally, she has actively engaged in community service projects, providing education and support on various health-related issues.
Dr. Suni’s contributions to the field have been recognized through awards and honors, including high-quality publication awards and international capacity-building accolades. Her work has been featured in reputable journals, such as the Journal of Neonatal Nursing and Journal of Nursing Regulation. Moreover, she has authored several books on pediatric nursing and integrated discharge planning, cementing her position as a respected expert in the nursing discipline.
