Hasanuddin University officially inaugurated Prof. Dr. Kadek Ayu Erika, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes. as a Professor in the field of Pediatric Nursing on Tuesday, (10\/06). The inauguration procession took place in the Senate Room, 2nd Floor, Unhas Rectorate Building.
This event was attended by the Chair of the Academic Senate, the Chancellor of Hasanuddin University, as well as a number of Professors and other invited guests. This inauguration marks an important achievement in academic development within the Faculty of Nursing, while strengthening the institution’s contribution in the field of nursing science in Indonesia.
The inauguration speech delivered by Prof. Dr. Kadek Ayu Erika, S.Kep.,Ns.,M.Kes with the title Building a Golden Generation: Family Empowerment Modified Model and Sehati Free Stunting Application as an Innovative Solution in Pediatric Nursing. In this case, he said that “The role of pediatric nurses in building the golden generation as care providers, health educators, counselors, and collaborators through an innovative family-based approach and digital transformation through the SEHATI application,” he explained. The implementation of the Family Empowerment Modified Model (FEMM) has been proven to significantly increase family knowledge in caring for children, as well as reduce body mass index (BMI) in children with obesity. This model is not only preventive, but also applicable and can be adapted in various Indonesian family contexts. In line with efforts to address malnutrition, especially stunting, Prof. Kadek emphasized the importance of the active role of pediatric nurses in integrating a family-based nursing approach with the use of digital transformation. One form of this innovation is through the use of the SEHATI Free Stunting Application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
