As part of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, on Thursday (19\/06) the team of lecturers and students of the Faculty of Kep Unhas through the Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) Unhas held an activity called \u201cPersonal Review Training in Improving Ideal Self and Self-Actualization of School Children Towards Golden Indonesia at SMA Negeri 1 Barru\u201d. This activity was designed to encourage students to recognize their potential, build self-confidence, and raise awareness of the importance of self-actualization as a provision to face future challenges.
Through this series of activities, it is seen that collaboration between academics and educational institutions can be an important driver in increasing individual capacity, both in terms of physical and psychosocial health.
This activity was opened directly by the Principal of SMA Negeri 1 Barru, Rosman, S.Pd., MM, who in his speech expressed great hopes for this activity. He emphasized that, \u201cI hope that what is conveyed later can be well received, because one form of your responsibility towards yourself is how you can actualize yourself, then reflect it in positive attitudes and actions in the midst of your friendship environment.\u201d He also emphasized that it is important for today’s young generation to have a strong self-awareness in designing the future, not only in terms of academics, but also in terms of character and social values.
Dr. Hastuti, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes., as the Head of the Community Service Team said that this training is a form of real contribution from the academic community of the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University in supporting character strengthening and developing the potential of the young generation since school age.
“Through this activity, we hope to help students of SMA Negeri 1 Barru to be better prepared in facing the future, dare to dream big, and take real action in achieving the best version of themselves. This is part of our small joint effort in preparing a superior generation towards Indonesia Emas 2045,” he said.
This training was attended by 50 students from OSIS, PMR, and other students, with speakers from the Faculty of Nursing, namely Dr. Hastuti, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes and Prof. Dr. Kadek Ayu Erika., S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes., this activity began with filling out a pre-test questionnaire distributed and accompanied by students to measure students’ initial knowledge of the concept of the ideal self, then continued with the presentation of material by a team of lecturers and students packaged in the form of a two-way discussion and self-reflection simulation. After the material session, students returned to fill out the post-test as a form of understanding evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
