The ICON Journal Team of the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, held a workshop to assist with submissions to Scopus for the Indonesian Temporary Nursing Journal (ICON Journal). The speakers included Prof. Ferry Efendi, S.Kep., Ns., M.Sc., Ph.D. (ICON Journal Review, Perspective Nursing Journal), and mentoring was provided by Prof. Ir. Andi Dirpan, S.TP., M.Sc., Ph.D., and Ahsan Yunus, S.H., M.H., on Friday (November 21st) at the Claro Hotel in Makassar.
The event was attended by Dean Prof. Dr. Elly L. Sjattar, S.Kp., M.Kes.; Deputy Dean for Partnership, Research, Innovation, and Alumni Dr. Takdir Tahir, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes.; Chair of the GPMPR Dr. Suni Hariati, S.Kep., Ns.M.Kep.; and the ICON Journal Team of the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University.
The event began with remarks and opening remarks by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Elly L. Sjattar, S.Kp., M.Kes., who expressed her support and appreciation for all the efforts and struggles made by the ICON Journal Management Team.
“With this activity, I hope the Icon Journal can bear fruit after the long journey to submit to Scopus, along with all the efforts and endeavors made by the entire team,” she said.
Dr. Takdir Tahir also provided direction, stating that the ICON Journal, Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, is expected to become a legacy in improving the quality of publications for nursing and physiotherapy programs at the national and international levels.
This was followed by a presentation by Prof. Ferry Efendi, S.Kep., Ns., M.Sc., Ph.D. (ICON Journal Review, Perspective Journal Nurses) through a Zoon Meeting.
The ICON Journal, Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, officially submitted to Scopus at precisely 10:10 PM WITA, accompanied by Prof. Ir. Andi Dirpan, S.TP., M.Si., Ph.D and Ahsan Yunus, S.H., M.H. Hopefully, with this effort, it will soon be indexed and become an increasingly strong publication space for lecturers, students and researchers in the fields of nursing and physiotherapy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
