The Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, held a workshop on “Implementation Science, Co-Design, and Research Process Evaluation” on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, in the LPMPP Hall of Hasanuddin University. The event was attended by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Syahrul, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes., Ph.D., lecturers, and master’s and medical-surgical nursing students.
The workshop featured speakers Dominique Cadilhac, Ph.D., and Dr. Tara Purvis, Ph.D., M.Sci., B.Physio, from Monash University Australia; Prof. Rini Rachmawaty, S.Kep., Ns., M.N., Ph.D., from Hasanuddin University; and Andi Baso Tombong, B.S.N., R.N., M.ANP., a lecturer at the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, and a doctoral student at Monash University.
The workshop was opened by Syahrul, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes., Ph.D., Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of the Faculty of Nursing at Hasanuddin University. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of implementing implementation science and a co-design approach to generating impactful innovations through interdisciplinary collaboration and stakeholder engagement to improve the quality of healthcare services and develop nursing education.
Interactive discussions throughout the workshop provided participants with the opportunity to explore various strategies for implementing evidence-based interventions and methods for evaluating health programs. Through this activity, the Faculty of Nursing at Hasanuddin University remains committed to fostering research, enhancing international collaboration, and producing nursing graduates and academics who are prepared to face the challenges of developing healthcare services.
