The Nursing Science Student Association (Himika) Faculty of Nursing (Fkep) Hasanuddin University (Unhas) held Nursing Skill Training (NST) at the Basic Nursing Laboratory F.Kep-UH, on Wednesday (18/10). This activity presented Adi Indra Wahyudi Bahtiar, S.Kep as a speaker who presented material regarding ECG installation and interpretation. Participants who took part in this activity were students from the 2021 and 2022 classes of F.Kep-UH.

The aim of this NST is to facilitate Nursing students in developing understanding and clinical skills in preparation for the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). This activity was combined with the presentation of material followed by the Clinical Skills Lab (CSL). The presentation of the material lasted approximately 2 hours along with questions and answers and also CSL. Then, at the end of the activity, a certificate was handed over to the presenter.

NST is one of the work programs of the PSDM Division of BPH Himika F.Kep-UH which will be implemented over two meetings. The second meeting is planned to be held in 2024. Through NST, students are expected to be able to understand and demonstrate the skills of EKG installation and interpretation.
