Students and Lecturers of the Master of Nursing Program, Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, Received 2026 Thesis Research Grants

The academic community of the Master of Nursing Program, Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, has once again achieved a proud achievement. Several teams of lecturers and students successfully obtained the 2026 Thesis Research Grant based on the Letter of the Director General of Research and Development of the Ministry of Education and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 94/DST/C/AL.04.02/2026 dated April 9, 2026. This achievement reflects a strong commitment to developing innovative, collaborative, and impactful nursing research to improve the quality of healthcare services.
The grant recipients include three leading research teams: a team led by Rini Rachmawaty, focusing on developing e-learning for patient safety to improve the competency of new nurses, with Suni Hariati and student Erni Banga Allo; a wound care team involving Yuliana Syam and Nurul Dwi Utami Syam, studying the effectiveness of wound care in post-spine surgery patients; and a team led by Rosyidah Arafat, Syahrul, and student Nurul Inayah, who are researching the effectiveness of using flashcards in improving the communication skills of stroke patients with motor aphasia.
The Head of the Master of Nursing Study Program, Saldy Yusuf, PhD, stated that this grant is expected to support the acceleration of student completion while producing high-quality, impactful research outputs. He emphasized that these studies are expected to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and strengthen the position of the Hasanuddin University Faculty of Nursing as a center of excellence in nursing research at the national and international levels.
