The Faculty of Nursing at Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) held an Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) in 2025, themed “Growing with Integrity, Moving with Innovation: From Values We Take Root, Through Action We Move, Through Work We Make an Impact” on Tuesday, August 12th, at the Unhas Science and Technology Building at 8:30 a.m. WITA.
The event was officially opened by the Dean (Prof. Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, S.Kp., M.Si), accompanied by the Vice Deans, Heads of Study Programs, and lecturers. A total of 264 students, 172 from the Nursing Study Program, and 92 from the Physiotherapy Study Program, were officially welcomed.
In her remarks, the Dean (Prof. Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, S.Kp., M.Si.) stated, “Welcome and welcome to the new students of the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University. Your entry into this academic environment is expected to be the first step, accompanied by enthusiasm and strong determination in pursuing a quality nursing education, so that you will be able to provide professional healthcare services in the future.”

This activity serves as a foundation for new students in their academic life. It not only serves as an introduction to the campus environment but also serves as a means of developing character with integrity, fostering a spirit of innovation, and encouraging students to actively create work that provides real benefits. By embracing these values, students are expected to be able to take a positive role, both on campus and in the community, so that their presence can bring about broad-based change.
