Prof. Dr. Elly Lilianty Sjattar, S.Kp., M.Kes is a distinguished academic figure in the field of nursing and healthcare. She holds the position of Full Professor since August 1, 2021, at the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University. She has been a leading figure in nursing academia for several years. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Science (DNSc) degree from Universitas Hasanuddin, which she obtained in 2011, following her Master’s degree in Public Health from the same institution in 2002. Her journey in academia began with her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Universitas Indonesia in 1998. Prof. Elly Lilianty has been actively contributing to research and scholarly activities. Her research work spans various topics related to nursing and healthcare, including self-care management for chronic diseases, patient education, and community healthcare. Her research expertise is evident from the long list of research projects and publications she has undertaken, published in reputable journals and books she has authored, showcasing her influence and expertise within the nursing research community. Prof. Sjattar’s commitment to excellence, demonstrated through scholarly efforts and impactful contributions, has elevated her reputation as an influential academic in the field of nursing.
In addition to her research contributions, Prof. Sjattar’s academic leadership role is also impressive. She has held key positions in nursing education, including as the Head of Postgraduate Nursing Program at the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University. Her role as a member of Indonesian Nursing Collegium, Division of Medical-Surgical Nursing Science and as an assessor at the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education underscores her commitment to maintaining high educational standards.
