Hapsah has been actively engaged in the field of nursing education since 2005. She obtained her Bachelor of Nursing, Professional Nurse, and Master's degree with a specialization in Psychiatric & Mental Health Nursing from Universitas Indonesia. Currently, she is in pursuit of her Doctoral degree in Medical Faculty at Hasanuddin University, where her research is focused on creating a psychospiritual health coaching model aimed at enhancing well-being and mental health of clients.
Throughout her professional journey, Hapsah has consistently demonstrated her dedication to nursing education, the welfare of clients and development nursing professional. Serving as a staff lecturer & Preceptor in the Psychiatric Nursing Department at the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, she has made significant contributions to shaping the future generation of nurses. In addition, her roles as a counsellor of mental health for students and Team coordinator of Biopsychosocial spiritual Coaching at Universitas Hasanuddin Hospital and preceptor in Makassar Psychiatric Hospital highlight her practical expertise in the field.
Moreover, Hapsah has also served as a nursing management practitioner since 2013 and is currently appointed as the Head of the Nursing Committee at Unhas Hospital. Through this role, she has been involved in various efforts to develop the nursing profession and services at Unhas Hospital. Several books also produced by nursing committee under her leadership.
Hapsah research interests primarily revolve around mental health, effective nursing communication and nursing management. She has authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals that are closely aligned with her areas of expertise. Furthermore, her involvement as a reviewer for reputable nursing and health journals underscores her commitment to advancing the field through rigorous peer evaluation.
