Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, Holds Workshop on Improving Research and Publication Performance

The Master of Nursing Program held a Workshop on Improving Research Performance and Publications Towards International Recognition on Thursday, December 4th, in the Senate Room of the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, at 8:30 a.m. WITA. Speakers included Prof. Firzan Nainu, S.Si., M.Biomed.Sc., Ph.D., Apt., and Prof. Dr. Dahlang Tahir, S.Si., M.Si.
Also in attendance were the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Elly L. Sjattar, S.Kp., M.Kes; the Vice Dean for Partnerships, Research, Innovation, and Alumni, Dr. Takdir Tahir, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes; and lecturers and students.
Speaker Prof. Firzan Nainu, S.Si., M.Biomed.Sc., Ph.D., Apt. focuses on the Integration of Research, Collaboration, and Publication as Pillars of International Recognition, and Prof. Dr. Dahlang Tahir, S.Si., M.Si., focuses on “A Strategic Roadmap to Research Excellence, Global Influence, and Recognition in the World’s Most Prestigious Scientific Community.”
The Dean of the Faculty of Kep, Prof. Dr. Elly L. Sjattar, S.Kp., M.Kes, began his remarks by stating, “F.Kep Unhas has undertaken various efforts to achieve international recognition, one of which is by facilitating lecturers and students to participate in workshops on Improving Research Performance and Publications. It is hoped that through this activity, research and publications in internationally reputable journals will further increase through optimization of TRG and partner collaboration,” he explained.
This workshop is part of F.Kep’s strategy to strengthen global competitiveness by facilitating lecturers and students in improving research and publication performance. Furthermore, F.Kep strives to encourage the production of quality research capable of being published in internationally reputable journals. Optimizing the TRG team and strengthening collaboration with national and international partners is expected to accelerate the achievement of sustainable international recognition.
