Hastuti is an Assistant Professor with a strong academic background in nursing. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing supported by scholarship from JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) and Master’s degree with specialization in physiology from Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University with scholarship support from South Sulawesi Provincial Government. She continued her academic journey by completing her Doctoral Program in Public Health Science from Hasanuddin University.
As a Lecturer, she has proficient teaching skills covering a wide range of subjects, including Basic Nursing Skills, Basic Human Needs Fulfillment, Basic Nursing Communication and Mental Health and Psychosocial Nursing. Over the past five years, Hastuti has been actively involved in various research projects, mainly investigating the impact of Moringa Oleifera supplements in pregnant and lactating mothers on the incidence of stunting and gross motor development, fine motor, language and social development in children. In addition, she is actively involved in community service by providing health education, contributing to scientific publications, and writing nursing-focused literature. Her profile underscores her unwavering commitment to advancing healthcare practice and knowledge.
Hastuti’s outstanding contributions to health, research and education have earned her honorable recognition. In 2022, Hastuti received the Satya Lencana 20 Years of Service Award from the President of the Republic of Indonesia for her services as a civil servant.
