Nurmaulid, born on December 19th, 1983 in Mata Kidi, has carved an illustrious career in the field of nursing, showcasing an unwavering commitment to both academics and practical aspects of the profession. She embarked on her educational journey with a Bachelor’s in Nursing from the revered Hasanuddin University in Makassar, Indonesia, and subsequently achieved her Master’s in Maternity Nursing from the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Indonesia. Her pursuit of excellence took her to various international institutions, attending the Bridging English Program at the University of Western Australia in Perth and the Summer School on Human Science at Kyushu University in Fukuoka, Japan, among others.
Professionally, Nurmaulid has held prominent roles, including the Head of the Nursing Diploma Program and Head of the Maternity Nursing Department at Hasanuddin University. Her dedication to nursing education is evident from her extensive involvement in curriculum development as the coordinator for the Association of Indonesian Nurse Education Centre (AINEC) Regional XII. She has also been recognized for her decade-long dedication as a civil servant, receiving the Satya Lencana Karya Satya award in 2022 from the President of the Republic of Indonesia. Beyond her roles in academia, Nurmaulid actively contributes to research, with her work featured in various international conferences and journals. A member of several professional organizations, she continually seeks avenues to uplift the standards of nursing both in Indonesia and abroad.
