Dr. Andina Setyawati is an accomplished professional with a strong background in the field of nursing and medical sciences. Holding a Doctorate degree from Gadjah Mada University (UGM), she has demonstrated expertise in medical-surgical nursing and has made significant contributions to the understanding of wound healing processes and diabetes management. Her research focuses on the impact of natural extracts like Piper crocatum Ruiz & Pav on collagen deposition and wound closure, as well as the effects of interventions such as Virgin Coconut Oil on dyslipidemia in diabetic patients. Dr. Setyawati’s academic journey began with her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at UGM, followed by a Master’s degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing from the University of Indonesia (UI). Her relentless pursuit of knowledge led her to complete her Doctorate at UGM, where she explored various aspects of wound healing and collaborated with esteemed professors and researchers. Apart from her impressive academic accomplishments, Dr. Setyawati has actively engaged in managing the Indonesian Contemporary Nursing Journal, reflecting her commitment to fostering scientific discourse within the nursing community. Dr. Setyawati’s scholarly contributions extend beyond her research endeavors, as evidenced by her authorship of numerous peer-reviewed articles published in prestigious journals like Nutrients and Saudi Journal of Biological Science. Furthermore, she has a role as a reviewer for the renowned international journal Biointerface Research in Applied Chemistry. Beyond her academic achievements, Dr. Setyawati is an Assistant Professor, contributing her knowledge and passion for nursing to nurture the next generation of medical professionals.
