[:en]On Wednesday, August 10, 2022, the Faculty of Nursing received a visit from the National College of Nursing, Japan (NCNJ) represented by Ms Kyoko Sudo, RN. Ms Kyoko Sudo or commonly called Sudo Sensei is also the International Cooperation team from the National Center for Global Health and Medicine-Japan (NCGM) which is the parent of NCNJ in Tokyo.
Although the visit was brief because previously he attended inhouse training for nurses at UNHAS Hospital, Sudo Sensei was able to meet and discuss with the Dean, the Deputy Dean, and the Head of the Study Program at the Faculty of Nursing (FKep) UNHAS about future activity plans as a follow-up in implementing the agreement from the MoU and MoA that had been mutually agreed upon.
There are several plans for collaborative activities, including the continuation of the project using Virtual Reality (VR) videos in classroom learning (Skill Lab) for Gerontic Nursing and also plans for the development of using VR videos for other Nursing Courts. In addition, the implementation of guest lectures, participation in the International Conference which will be held by FKep UNHAS in the coming year, the possibility of student exchanges, and visiting professors/lectures to Japan, are also topics of discussion.
