1. Vision
Becoming a community-oriented master’s nursing program that is culturally sensitive and based on Indonesia’s maritime continent, capable of global competitiveness in 2025.
2. Mission
To achieve this vision, the Faculty of Nursing’s Master of Nursing Study Program formulates several missions:
- Organizing an outcome-based and evidence-based nursing master’s learning program with a student-centered learning approach.
- Develop nursing knowledge through innovative research activities.
- Carry out community service activities based on research results oriented towards culture, increasing public health status, and developing nursing knowledge in educational institutions and health services.
- Organizing good governance for master of nursing education based on information and technology.
- Establish cooperation with educational institutions and public and private nursing services, both local, regional, national, and international
3. Program Learning Outcome (PLO)
- Health Care Provider:
Graduates of the master of nursing are able to manage nursing care and services based on standards of care and competence of Indonesian nurses and based on evidencebased nursing practice - Manager:
Graduates of the master of nursing can develop governance and improve the quality of nursing services in various health service settings with a management process approach through consideration of legal and ethical aspects and policies both at the local and national levels. - Educator:
Graduates of the Master of Nursing can develop clinical and community education/learning programs that are creative and innovative and based on the latest facts through an adult learning approach for the development of professional performance and improvement of care/health services to the community. - Researcher and Scientist:
Graduates of the master of the nursing program can develop research within the scope of nursing/health in order to produce innovative and tested research products as a basis for problem-solving, development of nursing/health science and technology, and formulation of policies to disseminate scientific thoughts and arguments, study results and research results through the media mass media, scientific journals to the academic community and the wider community.
