The Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University (F.Kep Unhas) held a Patent Writing Workshop featuring Prof. Dr. Ir. Amran Laga, M.S., a resource person. The workshop was attended by lecturers and students of the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, on Monday (10/13) via Zoom. The workshop was also attended by the Vice Dean for Partnerships, Research, Innovation, and Partnerships, Dr. Takdir Tahir, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes, and the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University Publication Management Unit (PMU) Team.
In his remarks, Vice Dean III, Dr. Takdir Tahir, stated that “this activity provides a bridge for lecturers to understand and produce research innovations in the form of patents and simple patents in the fields of nursing and physiotherapy. This allows them to provide tangible contributions to the development of nursing and physiotherapy health services.”
This activity is a routine activity that has been carried out for the past two years in the field of research and innovation, implemented by the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University Publication Management Unit (PMU) as an effort to achieve faculty performance indicators.
Prof. Dr. Ir. Amran Laga, M.S. began with an explanation regarding the essence of patents as inventions that can be in the form of Products, Processes and Improvements to a product or process, followed by an explanation regarding the differences between Patents and Simple Patents, then Techniques for Writing Patent Specification Documents.
