Hasanuddin University Faculty of Nursing delegation in EAFONS 2023 (East Asian Forum of Nursing Scholars 2023) at the University of Tokyo, Japan: Anugrah Nur Fajrianti and Nur Rahma. The two delegations made presentations at the oral session on March 10, 2023.
The EAFONS 2023 activity with the theme “Doctoral Nursing Education’s response to the unpredicted time” is a conference activity with the aim of facilitating an annual international forum for practising nurses and academics from all countries in East Asia. Located at The University of Tokyo, Japan, this time EAFONS was held for 2 days starting from March 10-11 2023. This activity was carried out in a hybrid manner and there were oral sessions and poster sessions.
Accompanied by a symposium from great speakers in nursing research, this time the EAFONS event is extraordinary because it can be held on-site after the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, the introduction of AI and VR in nursing interventions in the future will also inspire Indonesian nurses to develop the nursing process through excellent research in the future. This year’s conference was attended by approximately 1200 participants from several countries such as Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Hongkong, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Maldives and many more.
