The Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, held a sharing session themed “Your Nursing Journey to Japan Starts Here” on Saturday, October 4th. The session featured an alumnus (Ns. Suhardiman Joyo Negoro, S.Kep.), currently pursuing a career as a nurse in Japan, and a Master’s student at Hasanuddin University. The session was attended by 50 participants, consisting of students and alumni, via Zoom.
This event is a regular event organized by the Vice Dean for Partnerships, Research, Innovation, and Alumni (Dr. Takdir Tahir, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes.) to motivate alumni to pursue careers abroad, particularly in Japan, and to prepare students.
In his remarks, the Deputy Dean for Partnerships, Research, Innovation, and Alumni (Dr. Takdir Tahir, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes) stated that “this is a routine monthly event featuring alumni working abroad. Previously, we have featured alumni working in Germany, and the next event will feature alumni working in Saudi Arabia.”
The Sharing Session demonstrates the Faculty of Nursing Unhas’ commitment to supporting alumni in developing careers abroad and enabling them to compete internationally in the nursing field. It is hoped that this will motivate students and prepare them for pursuing careers abroad.
