In the context of program evaluation and further discussion regarding opportunities for collaboration, two lecturers from Hanze University of Applied Science, Groningen, The Netherlands returned to conduct a series of visits at the Hasanuddin University Faculty of Nursing on March 26-29 2023. The two lecturers are
- Sanne Heinen, M.Sc (Senior Lecturer in General Nursing; Country coordinator for international partnership at the Hanze University of Applied Science, Groningen, The Netherlands); and
- Hyllan Weijer, M.Ed., RN (Senior lecturer in General Nursing and Social Psychiatric Nursing at the Hanze University of Applied Science, Groningen, The Netherlands)
On the first day of the visit, Monday morning (27/3) at 08.00 – 09.30 WITA, the two guest lecturers and the Unhas Faculty of Nursing team visited Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo to discuss program evaluation and follow-up plans for the Nursing Profession Practice study for Hanze University of Applied Science students, Groningen, The Netherlands at the hospital, accompanied by the Head of the RSWS DIKLAT and the preceptors in the treatment room. Continued at 10.00 – 11.30, the visit continued to the Rappokalling Community Health Center to discuss evaluation and follow-up of the Research Methodology module program by Hanze University students at the Health Center. And in the afternoon, the meeting continued in the Senate Room of the Faculty of Nursing UNHAS with the Deputy Deans of FKep UH namely Syahrul Said, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes., PhD (Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs), Dr. Takdir Tahir, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes. (Deputy Dean for Partnerships, Research and Innovation) and the Adhoc team from the Faculty of Nursing for Hanze University of Applied Science, Groningen, The Netherlands. At the meeting it was agreed that the two institutions would continue and extend the collaborative programs that had been carried out, and there was also discussion about other collaboration opportunities such as student exchange and joint research.
On the second day of the visit, Tuesday morning (28/3) 09.00 – 11.30 WITA, the two lecturers conducted a guest lecture on the topic of eHealth and elderly care to students of the UNHAS Faculty of Nursing in the UNHAS Science and Technology Building. On Tuesday afternoon at 15.00 – 16.30 WITA, a meeting was held with the UNHAS Deputy Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. drg. Muhammad Ruslin, M.Kes., Ph.D., Sp.BM(K), in his office, UNHAS Rectorate Building. The meeting discussed several other collaboration opportunities that could be achieved by the two institutions. And on the last day of the visit, Wednesday (29/3), a visit was held to Hasanuddin University Hospital at 09.00 – 11.00 accompanied by Dr. dr. Andi Indahwaty As, S.Ked., MHSM, as Director of Education, Training, Research, and HR at Hasanuddin University Hospital along with the nursing service managerial team. Apart from program evaluation, visits were also made to several treatment rooms which will be the study locations for Hanze University students.
