The presentation of the Vision and Mission of the Candidates for Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, for the 2025-2029 Period, along with the Voting, was successfully held on Tuesday, July 22nd, in the Senate Room of the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM WITA. The event was attended by all 12 members of the Faculty of Nursing Senate, as well as the academic community (lecturers, educational staff, students, and alumni), both offline (approximately 40 people) and online (approximately 200 people) via Zoom meeting.

This activity has gone through the selection and screening stages in accordance with applicable regulations at Hasanuddin University. The process resulted in two candidates for Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, for the 2025-2029 Period: Dr. Takdir Tahir, S.Kep.,Ns.,M.Kes and Prof. Dr. Elly Lilianty Sjattar, S.Kp.,M.Kes.
Both have fulfilled all the requirements and stages of the selection process, and today participated in a series of activities, including the drawing of candidate numbers, presentation of their vision and mission, and the voting process by the Faculty Senate.

The event began with remarks from the Dean (Prof. Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, S.Kp., M.Si.), who expressed her appreciation for the hard work and enthusiasm of all those who supported this activity. “This activity is a concrete manifestation of our shared commitment to realizing transparent, participatory, and accountable faculty governance. We deeply appreciate the enthusiasm of all parties involved in this process, including the committee, participants, and the dean candidates, who have demonstrated their dedication and readiness to lead the faculty into the future,” she explained.

The event continued with the drawing of candidate numbers, which took place openly and was witnessed by all offline and online participants. Afterward, each candidate presented their vision and mission, followed by a question-and-answer session.
Following the presentations, a voting process was held by all 12 Senate members, demonstrating academic democracy and transparency. The voting results were as follows:

  1. Prof. Dr. Elly Lilianty Sjattar, S.Kp., M.Kes., received 7 votes.
  2. Dr. Takdir Tahir, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes., received 5 votes.

With these results, the next step is to submit the names of candidates for Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at Hasanuddin University for the 2025–2029 period to the Rector of Hasanuddin University for further processing.
The voting process proceeded smoothly and democratically, reflecting the Faculty of Nursing’s commitment to transparent, participatory, and accountable faculty governance.
