
The Executive Board of the Nursing Science Student Association (BPH HIMIKA) of the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, once again held Leadership Training 1 (LK1) on September 27–28, 2025, to foster leadership skills and broaden organizational horizons.
This year’s LK1 activity carried the theme “Regeneration of Quality Cadres: Cultivating Collective Awareness, Building a Progressive Spirit, and Realizing Inclusive Change.”
The event was officially opened by the Student Advisor of the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, Akbar Harisa, S.Kep., Ns., PMNC., Mn., who in his remarks emphasized the importance of developing a generation of students who not only excel academically but also possess strong leadership, critical thinking, and character.
The series of activities consisted of material presentations, group discussions, leadership simulations, and evaluations. The material provided includes an introduction to the fundamentals of leadership, organizational management, effective communication, and nursing values integrated with student leadership ethics.
Through this activity, new students can understand their roles and responsibilities as organizational cadres, foster collective awareness in carrying out leadership functions, and develop a progressive attitude oriented towards positive and inclusive change within the campus and community.
