The Physiotherapy Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University, held a Physiotherapy Webinar on November 23rd, entitled “Global Perspectives on Evidence-Based Pediatric Practice in Community-Based Rehabilitation” via Zoom. The event was attended by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Syahrul, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes., Ph.D., Physiotherapy lecturers, and students. The speakers at the event were Nahdiah Purnamasari, S.Ft., Physio, M.Kes (Unhas) with the topic: Early Intervention for Children with Cerebral Palsy in Indonesia; Rachel Lassman (London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine) with the topic: Baby Ubuntu: Participatory Early Intervention Programme for Children with Developmental Disabilities; Ahmad Syakib, S.Ft., Ftr., MKM, (Poltekkes Kemenkes) with the topic: Global Perspectives on Evidence-Based Pediatric Practice in Community-Based Rehabilitation.
The Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Syahrul, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes., Ph.D., stated in his remarks, “This activity is expected to become a forum for developing and improving the competency of physiotherapists to implement evidence-based pediatric practice that aligns with the needs of the rehabilitation community through the exchange of global perspectives.” This activity aims to improve the understanding and competence of physiotherapists in providing rehabilitation services according to needs.
