The Faculty of Nursing (FKep) Hasanuddin University (Unhas) held the 5th International Nursing and Health Sciences Student and Health Care Professionals Conference (INHSP) 2023. The event took place at the Unhas Hotel and Convention, Wednesday (30/08).

INHSP is a biannual activity of the Faculty of Nursing which aims to convey ideas from research results on health, including in the fields of nursing and physiotherapy. Especially for this year’s implementation, the 5th INHSP Conference activities are a series of activities for UNHAS’s 67th Anniversary Celebration. This was made even more special by the coinciding appointment of FKep UNHAS as host of the UNHAS 67th Anniversary committee.

In her report representing the Chair of the Committee (Nurfadilla, S.Kep., Ns., MN), the Secretary of the Committee, Framita Rahman S Kep Ns MSc explained that this year’s INHSP activities focus on Sustainable Development Goals related to health and welfare and have the theme “Health Equity for All : Advancing SDGs Achievement through Collaborative Innovation”. This activity was then officially opened by the Deputy Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs at UNHAS, Prof. Drg. Muhammad Ruslin, M.Kes., Ph.D,. Sp.BM(K).

This activity not only involved participants from the Sulawesi region but also brought in participants from outside Sulawesi, such as Jakarta, Samarinda, Gorontalo and Manado. Also attending were foreign speakers from Japan, Australia and Malaysia.
