BACHELOR OF MIDWIFERY AND MIDWIFERY PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM
VISION
“To achieve excellence in the development of knowledge, technology, arts, and culture in the fields of nursing and health, characterized by the values of the Indonesian Maritime Continent and globally competitive by 2030.”
MISSION
1. To provide innovative and adaptive education to produce competent and ethical professional midwives who are capable of providing comprehensive maternal and child health services, particularly in the 3T regions, based on the values of the Indonesian Maritime Continent.
2. To develop knowledge, technology, and professional midwifery practice through interdisciplinary research focusing on improving the quality of maternal and child health in accordance with community needs, particularly in the 3T regions.
3. To implement evidence-based and locally grounded community service activities to improve the accessibility, quality, and sustainability of midwifery services in the 3T regions.
4. To develop professional and quality-oriented Study Program governance that supports the establishment of a globally competitive academic culture.
OBJECTIVES
1. Strategic Objective 1: To produce professional midwifery graduates with clinical, ethical, communication, leadership, and evidence-based decision-making competencies in providing comprehensive, continuous, and responsive maternal and child healthcare services, particularly in 3T regions based on the Indonesian Maritime Continent.
2. Strategic Objective 2: To produce graduates who are adaptive to developments in knowledge, health technology, and digital transformation in midwifery services, and who are capable of collaborating interprofessionally within local, national, and global healthcare settings.
3. Strategic Objective 3: To produce research and develop midwifery knowledge that contributes to addressing maternal and child health problems, particularly those related to access, quality, and sustainability of healthcare services in remote, border, outermost, and island communities.
4. Strategic Objective 4: To strengthen the Study Program’s contribution to community empowerment through community service based on scientific evidence, local wisdom, and cross-sectoral partnerships to support improvements in the health status of women, mothers, infants, and children in 3T regions.
5. Strategic Objective 5: To establish transparent, accountable, adaptive, and continuously quality-oriented Study Program governance to support the effective implementation of the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi) and strengthen global competitiveness.
6. Strategic Objective 6: To establish a productive, collaborative, inclusive, and internationally oriented academic environment that supports the capacity development of the academic community and strengthens national and global networks in the field of midwifery.

1. To improve the quality of learning in the educational process.

3. To increase the number of international students participating in activities within the Bachelor of Midwifery Program.
4. To improve student achievements at national and international levels.
5. To increase students’ learning experiences outside the Study Program.
6. To develop graduates’ ability to adapt to various fields of application and further development of learning outcomes.
7. To improve the quality of scientific publications resulting from lecturers’ research and community service activities.
8. To improve lecturers’ academic qualifications through further study.
9. To provide adequate and accountable facilities and infrastructure that support the implementation of the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi) by lecturers.
