Bachelor’s Oath and Professional Oath:Ready to Dedicate Knowledge and Competence Professionally

The Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, held its Physiotherapy Undergraduate Pledge and Professional Oath-taking ceremony for the December 2025/2026 Academic Year on Monday, December 15, at 9:00 a.m. WITA (Central Indonesian Time) in the Senate Room. The ceremony was attended by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Elly L. Sjattar, S.Kp., M.Kes; the Secretary of the IFI Faculty of South Sulawesi Province, H.M. Tahir, S.Ft., Physio., M.Kes; the Head of Study Programs, religious leaders, and 31 graduates.
The Dean, Prof. Dr. Elly L. Sjattar, S.Kp., M.Kes, stated in her remarks that
“By taking the pledge and oath, it is hoped that the graduates will always uphold the integrity and good name of the faculty and university in all their future endeavors,” she explained.
Also addressing the ceremony was the Secretary of the IFI Faculty of South Sulawesi Province, H.M. Tahir, S.Ft., Physio., M.Kes., stated that “Commitment to the profession, ethics, and continuous learning are the main foundations in dealing with patient diversity and the dynamics of the healthcare system. Therefore, it is hoped that each graduate will become a professional who continues to develop his knowledge, a competent and innovative practitioner, and able to collaborate effectively within a team to achieve optimal patient care and recovery, while upholding professional integrity.” He explained.
The Indonesian Physiotherapy Association is committed to continuing to support competency development for the advancement of Indonesian physiotherapy.
