Official Launch of PERS Journal

The Physiotherapy, Exercise, and Rehabilitation Science (PERS) Journal, Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University, officially launched on Thursday, January 22, 2026, with seven articles written by Rijal, S.Ft., Physio., M.Kes., Ph.D., Chief Editor. This journal is published periodically twice a year.
This journal focuses on current discussions on physiotherapy and exercise issues in Indonesia and the Asia-Pacific region, as well as comparative and global perspectives that support advancements in physiotherapy and healthcare practices worldwide.
The PERS Journal is managed by the Physiotherapy Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University, and is coordinated by the Vice Dean for Partnerships, Research, Innovation, and Alumni, Dr. Takdir Tahir, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes. He expressed his appreciation for the launch to the PERS Journal Team. “Hopefully, the PERS Journal will be beneficial for physiotherapy lecturers in particular, and for the development of the physiotherapy profession in general,” he explained.
With the launch of the PERS Journal, the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, affirms its commitment to strengthening the culture of research and scientific publication, as well as encouraging the contribution of academics and practitioners in the development of sustainable and broad-based physiotherapy science, both at the national and international levels.
