Hasanuddin University’s Faculty of Nursing Conducts Socialization of SDGs Integration in Education, Research, Community Service, and Governance

The Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, held a socialization session on the integration of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Education, Research, Community Service, and Governance on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, in the Faculty of Nursing Senate Room. The event, which took place from 1:30–3:00 PM WITA (Central Indonesian Time), was attended by the Vice Deans, lecturers, and administrative staff of the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University. The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Elly L. Sjattar, S.Kp., M.Kes., followed by a presentation by the Secretary of Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Eng. Amiruddin, S.Si., M.Si.

In his presentation, Prof. Dr. Eng. Amiruddin, S.Si., M.Si. He explained national and global policies regarding the implementation of the SDGs in higher education, including SDG transformation, the role of higher education institutions in supporting sustainable development, SDG indicators, and the Impact Rankings. He also outlined the implementation of the SDGs in education, research, and community service through integration into the curriculum, strengthening research and community service activities, and presented various examples of best practices and a roadmap for SDG implementation in the Faculty of Nursing as a strategic step in strengthening the faculty’s contribution to achieving sustainable development goals through the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and institutional governance.

The event concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session. The discussion gave participants the opportunity to raise questions and share their views regarding the implementation of the SDGs within the Faculty of Nursing, as an effort to strengthen understanding and align their implementation in education, research, community service, and faculty governance.
