Isnah joined Hasanuddin University’s Nursing Science Program in 2008. In 2013 worked as a part-time nurse in the eye clinic of Hospital Hasanuddin University after joining the sandwich program at Ninewells Hospital and Medical School linked with the University of Dundee, UK in 2009 and finishing a master of biomedical science specific to Emergency and Disaster Management in Medical Faculty of Hasanuddin university in 2012.
