The Faculty of Nursing visited the Department of Nursing, Malaya University on (05/12). The activity was attended by the Dean of F.Kep (Prof. Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, S.Kp., M.Si), WD Bid. Partnership, Research and Innovation (Dr. Takdir Tahir, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes), Secretary of Kep S1 Study Program (Andi Baso Tombong S. Kep., Ns., MN), Nurse Professional KPS (Syahrul Ningrat S. Kep., Ns., M. Kep., Sp. KMB), GPM Secretary (Arnis Puspita S.Kep., Ns., M. Kes), Physiotherapy Lecturer (Yeri Mustari, S.Ft., Physio, M. Clin.Rehab)

This meeting was a form of training in increasing research collaboration and Joint Publication, as well as discussing opportunities and sharing experiences for the preparation of ICON Journal F.Kep for Scopus. Apart from that, the aim of this activity is to increase the number of research and community services, increase the number of IPRs, increase the number of citations for F.Kep lecturers and increase Publication/International Conference Joining.

Then from this activity, among other things, the Implementation Agreement document for two study programs, namely, the undergraduate nursing study program and the undergraduate physiotherapy study program as a collaboration implementation report, an agreement to become a research team in the Unhas Internal Research grant on the Collaborative Fundamental Research (PFK) scheme and the I-CORE Collaborative Research agreement become Adjunct Professor (AP. Dr. Chong Mei Chan, Prof. Chui Ping Lei, Dr. Tang Li Yoong, and agree to the invitation of an external examiner (professor) from the Faculty of Nursing in the Masters and PhD programs, and Willingness to accept 3 prospective candidates PhD student from the Nursing Study Program at UM Malaya.

Department of Nursing, Malaya University presented material on Briefing on Research and development and potential collaboration by Dr. Vimala Ramoo, Master and PhD Program and Program Research Student by Dr. Chui Ping Lei, and Briefing on Bachelor of Nursing Science Program by Prof. Madya Dr. Tang Li Yoong. F.Kep also explained material about Research Profile & Collaborative Research Opportunities Faculty of Nursing Hasanuddin University

The visit to Malaya universities is part of a series in implementing the target of achieving the Main Performance Index (IKU) and Additional Performance Index (IKT) which are F.Kep’s targets, to achieve the number of lecturer visits abroad, increase the number of academic peers and other potential collaborations such as joining publications, inbound and outbound students, and visiting lecturers. Then this visit strengthens information and experience in order to prepare for accreditation, both national accreditation and international accreditation which will be implemented in 2024.
