The Special Physiotherapy Scientific Forum Himafisio (PISIFORM) Faculty of Nursing (Fkep) Hasanuddin University (Unhas) held an online Physiotherapy Scientific Poster Competition (PSPC 2024) via the Zoom Meeting platform, Sunday (21/01). This activity carried the theme “Optimizing Cardiovascular Health Through Physiotherapy: Integrating Exercise Prescription, Rehabilitation, and Lifestyle Interventions” which was attended by 20 teams from physiotherapy students throughout Indonesia. This competition presents 3 judges who are competent in their fields, namely Physio La Ode Abdul Haris Hijriansyah, S.Ft., Ftr., CDNP, Practitioner at Physiocentrum Kendari, Physio Kiki Rezki Faradillah, S.Ft., Physio., M.Biomed, lecturer at UPN “Veteran” Jakarta and Physio Muhammad Yusrin Al Gifari, M.Biomed., AIFO, lecturer at Kalimantan Superior Polytechnic.

PSPC 2024 is one of the work programs of the External Pisiform Division of Himafisio F.Kep-UH which is carried out once during the management. The aim of the 2024 PSPC competition is to accommodate the interests and talents of Physiotherapy students and help students think critically in the increasingly developing scientific field of Physiotherapy. Apart from that, it is hoped that this activity will be able to generate innovative, creative and applicable ideas in the management of physiotherapy.

The 2024 PSPC competition consists of two assessment stages. A total of 20 teams who have registered and succeeded in submitting poster work on time will be selected for the first stage. This first stage of assessment aims to assess the quality of the participants’ posters, which is carried out by three judges. Then, the five best teams will qualify for the second stage. In the second stage, the five teams will present the contents of their posters in front of the judges. After the presentation session is finished, each judge will ask questions to each team. Meanwhile, 1st place in the 2024 PSPC competition was Nawang Wulan Aprilia & Najwa Citamajida from the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta, followed by Yuyun Apriliyani & Laili Rahmawati Azizi from the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta who finished second, then 3rd place was won by Syarifah Nahdla Aini & Magfira Ramadhani from Hasanuddin University.
