On Thursday, (15/02) BEM Kema Faculty of Nursing held the 2024 Art Inauguration and Appreciation at Baruga Andi Pangerang Pettarani Unhas. This Inauguration and Appreciation activity is a work program carried out by the Interest and Talent Department of BEM Kema F.Kep-UH which aims to inaugurate young members of Kema F.Kep-UH who have completed the process in both sets of study programs as well as being a place to show off their talents and performances. as a form of appreciation for new students. This activity carries the concept of a performance that is prepared and designed by young members themselves in a committee structure and also guided by BEM administrator Kema F.Kep-UH. By involving 157 committee members from all new students class of 2023.
This activity featured the 2023 Inauguration Theater and Art Appreciation with the theme “Stepping Together Against Sexual Harassment” and also collaborated with the Hasanuddin University Task Force for Preventing and Handling Sexual Violence (PPKS).
The Dean of the Faculty of Nursing (Prof. Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, S.Kp., M.Si) was also present at this opening activity and gave his speech and very good appreciation to the committee who were able to organize and carry out this activity well. He was also present. also Director of Student Affairs and Career Preparation at Hasanuddin University (Abdullah Sanusi, S.E., MBA., PhD). Followed by the inauguration of the New Students of the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University Class of 2023 by the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, namely Prof. Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, S.Kp., M.Sc. The opening event ended with a closing prayer and then moved on to the main event, namely the art appreciation performance.
With the existence of a theater with the above theme, there is a warning for everyone who watches it to remain alert and sensitive to the people around us. The hope is that this inauguration can be a good first step in creating a campus environment that is safe and free from sexual harassment.
